Well...I just couldn't help tinkering with the music! I've spent another month in Australia and changed a few songs, added new ones and now have a different mix of Fur Elise Variations! Now, I just need to decide on the order I want the music, then it goes to mastering, and then production.

Home on the Range 

The piano version of Home on the Range premiered on the 4th of July, 2009. I have been asked to arrange this for a flute quartet, so we met and experimented a bit ... trying to capture the prairie wind. More work to be done, but I'm excited by what I've heard so far!

In January, I went back to Newcastle, Australia to work with the new 102-key Stuart piano. I went with no expectations... I just wanted to see how the piano spoke to me. This was probably the happiest and most productive 3 weeks I can remember!!! I was totally blown away by the sounds that are possible. A New Declaration of Independence! 

This has been an exciting adventure working with "Thomas Paine" AKA Bob Basso in his "New Declaration of Independence" from the center of the continent, and heart of America, in Osborne, KS. I premiered my new piano arrangement of "Home on the Range", which was originally written not far from here in Smith Center, KS.
